Survival Fatigue

When survival stretches into a lifestyle, the cost begins to quietly accumulate.

Burnout.

Compassion fatigue.

Delayed crashes.

Exhaustion that lingers beneath functioning.

I stay with invisible labour and the grief that can sit beneath strength.

I am learning that rest, pacing, and community care are not luxuries.

They are part of how I keep going, gently and sustainably.

Survival mode can feel normal for a very long time.

Awareness often begins when exhaustion can no longer be ignored.
