Survival Fatigue
When survival stretches into a lifestyle, the cost begins to quietly accumulate.
Burnout.
Compassion fatigue.
Delayed crashes.
Exhaustion that lingers beneath functioning.
I stay with invisible labour and the grief that can sit beneath strength.
I am learning that rest, pacing, and community care are not luxuries.
They are part of how I keep going, gently and sustainably.
Survival mode can feel normal for a very long time.
Awareness often begins when exhaustion can no longer be ignored.
You are welcome to return whenever you feel ready.
