Everyday moments, a farm trip, a child’s smile, should be accessible to every family.
For Deaf parents, these simple joys can come with barriers most people never see: missed announcements, inaccessible booking systems, or environments that don’t consider communication needs.
I share these glimpses to show that access shouldn’t be an exception; it should be the norm. Deaf children deserve to grow up included, not left on the sidelines.
