Connecting with WovenAware

Last updated: 18 May 2026

WovenAware is a Deaf-led platform grounded in lived experience, awareness, and thoughtful communication.

This space is reflective, boundaried, and free from pressure.

Some areas of WovenAware are intentionally designed as slower written reflective spaces rather than real-time or video-led communication.

WovenAware is not designed for urgency, crisis support, or rapid-response communication.

Response Pace

While messages are read with care, responses may not always be possible.

Responses may take time and are not immediate.

WovenAware is a one-person platform and does not operate as a support service.

Nature of Communication

WovenAware welcomes:

  • thoughtful communication

  • respectful enquiries

  • feedback about accessibility or barriers

WovenAware is not able to offer:

  • personal advice

  • emotional support

  • crisis or urgent-response communication

Emotional Boundaries

Some visitors may feel deeply connected to the reflections shared here.

That connection is recognised, but WovenAware is not able to hold ongoing emotional support or provide crisis support.

If you are seeking support, you are encouraged to contact an appropriate professional or support service.

Respecting Boundaries

Engagement is welcomed when grounded in respect.

Messages that are harmful, abusive, or persistently demanding may not receive a response.

WovenAware may choose not to engage where communication does not align with these values.

Thoughtful Communication

When reaching out, it helps to keep in mind:

I understand this is a considered space, and responses may not always be immediate.

Thank You

Thank you for engaging with care and helping keep this space thoughtful, respectful, and sustainable.
