About WovenAware

WovenAware is a Deaf-led platform created by Stephanie Todd, offering reflective content grounded in lived experience.

Services and resources are designed to support awareness, understanding, and accessible communication.

WovenAware is not a therapy or support service.

What You Are Purchasing

When purchasing a WovenAware product or service, you are purchasing access to a specific resource, session, or experience.

Offerings may include:

  • reflective and awareness-based content

  • learning grounded in lived experience

  • system-level insight and exploration

Each offering will clearly describe what is included.

Payment

Payment confirms access to the selected product, session, or service.

Prices are shared clearly before purchase unless otherwise stated.

WovenAware reserves the right to update pricing over time.

Refunds and Cancellations

Digital products (e.g. toolkits)

Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are generally not provided once access has been granted unless required by law.

Live Sessions / Workshops

  • If cancellation is made with sufficient notice (e.g. 48 hours), a reschedule may be offered

  • Refunds are not guaranteed

  • If WovenAware cancels or reschedules a session, an alternative date or refund will be offered

  • Sessions may not be recorded, reproduced, or shared without permission

Nature of the Work

WovenAware provides:

  • reflective and educational content

  • awareness-based learning

  • lived experience perspectives

WovenAware does not provide:

  • therapy

  • counselling

  • personal advice

  • crisis or emotional support

Engaging with this work may feel personal or reflective, but it is not a substitute for professional support.

Personal Responsibility

By engaging with WovenAware content, you agree:

  • to take responsibility for how you interpret and use the material

  • to seek professional support where needed

  • to engage at your own pace and with awareness of your well-being

Intellectual Property

All content remains the property of WovenAware unless otherwise stated.

You may:

  • use materials for personal learning

  • share links to WovenAware content

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute materials without permission

  • Share paid resources publicly

  • Use content for commercially without written consent

Respectful Engagement

WovenAware is a boundaried and respectful space.

Participants and clients are expected to:

  • engage respectfully

  • honour the nature of the work

  • respect the boundaries of the space

WovenAware reserves the right to withdraw access where behaviour does not align with these values.

Access and Availability

WovenAware aims to provide consistent access to purchased content and services.

However:

  • Access may occasionally be interrupted

  • Content may evolve over time

Reasonable efforts will be made to maintain access and communication.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, WovenAware is not responsible for:
