When systems fail, children should not be left unprotected.

CODA series

Symbolic photograph: A long hallway leads toward a bright window where two blurred figures stand in conversation. A closed wooden door is visible on the left wall. The lighting is soft and neutral.

In moments of uncertainty, emotional weight is not always carried equally.

When systems fail, it is often children who carry the emotional impact of that collapse.

When access falls away, children should not be left unprotected.

Every child deserves safety when the world feels uncertain.

This reflection comes from my perspective as a Deaf parent, shaped by listening to CODA voices and stories over time.
