Some days, I feel tired, frustrated, overwhelmed or worried.
Being a Deaf parent doesn't mean I have to be strong every moment or pretend everything is fine.
I want my children to know that difficult feelings are part of life. What matters to me is how I respond: with honesty, reassurance and a willingness to put things right when I get something wrong.
Sometimes that means asking for help. Sometimes it means taking a break. Sometimes it means admitting that something feels hard.
My children don't need me to be perfect.
They need me to be present.
