My Story Continues

Gentle heads-up: This post touches on survival and mental health.

Photograph of a black ink tattoo on the inner wrist that reads ‘F;ghter,’ with the semicolon replacing the letter i. The tattoo is shown on authentic skin tone against a wooden background, cropped closely so the word is central.

There was a time when I wasn’t sure my story would continue.

This tattoo says F;ghter.

The semicolon sits where the letter “i” should be. For me, that small mark carries a lot. It holds the place where an ending could have been, but wasn’t.

I chose this tattoo because I needed something on my body that reminded me I was still here.

Not because everything was fixed.

Not because the pain disappeared.

But because my story continued.

This tattoo reminds me that survival is not always loud. Sometimes it is quiet. Sometimes it is one more day. One more breath. One more page.

It no longer needs to prove strength to anyone.

It simply reminds me:

I am still here.
