Equity Begins at Home

Because of how ordinary it was.
The laughter.
The closeness.
The way siblings create their own little world together.
As a parent, there are moments I hope my children will remember as they grow older.
Not the big occasions.
Not the expensive days out.
Moments like this.
A sofa.
A shared treat.
A feeling of being together.
When I look back at this photograph, that's what stays with me.
The joy of seeing them simply be brothers.
